Protect Your Engine with Antifreeze & Coolant

Engine coolant is a liquid mixture of water and antifreeze located in your vehicle’s radiator that prevents your engine from overheating in hot weather and freezing in extreme cold weather. Generally, a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water is more than adequate to protect your engine unless temperatures drop below freezing.

Cold weather will cause your vehicle’s fluids - oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, etc. - to become more viscous (to thicken) and to move more slowly. Extreme cold weather conditions may necessitate a 60/40 or 70/30 ratio of antifreeze to water.

To ensure you use the proper mixture, refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for the manufacturer’s recommendations and be sure to check the mixture ratios printed on the product packaging.

Use the dropdown boxes in the “Refine Results” section below to find the right antifreeze or coolant for your vehicle.
