JOB DESCRIPTION: Picker/Packer

Hours of Work:

Full-time, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Duties to be Performed:

The primary duties of the person in this position include:

  • Reading and interpreting invoices
  • Properly identifying and matching parts and accessories to their invoice numbers
  • Packing orders according to appropriate shipping method, product specifics, and any additional documentation
  • Filling packages in a manner to guarantee delivery to the customer without damage and in a presentable fashion
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area and environment
  • Maintaining proper and clear communication channels with team members
  • Identifying and communicating quality and accuracy issues
  • Ensuring and upholding proper safety measures in the work environment 

Skills/Abilities Needed: 

  • Data entry experience helpful but not necessary
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Professional and courteous attitude and behavior 
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and professionalism in a high-speed environment

Experience/Education Required:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
